Sally is good at singing. Yang Ping thinks she sings well. Tim and Paul always invite Yang Ping to do some sports. Tim’s favourite sport is to fly kites. He has many kites, some are big, some are small. Paul likes swimming. He can swim like a fish. The five of them usually go to the movies on Sunday.
W: Do you have a pet at home?
M: Yes. I keep some tropical fish.
W: They’re beautiful, aren’t they?
M: Yes, they’re colorful and lovely.
W: What do you usually do when they become sick?
M: They can’t be sick if you take good care of them.
W: But you can hardly notice it when they are sick.
M: That’s true. You see, I have a book about tropical fish. It helps me a lot.
W: Is it rewarding to keep pet fish?
M: Sure! They make you feel easy when you watch them.
This is a special class. The students come from different countries. Some come from America, others come from Canada, Japan, Australia, and England. But they all speak English. They study together, play together and live together. They help each other. They are good friends.
All the teachers of this class are Chinese, they can speak English. They teach their students in English. They work hard.
The students in this class study Chinese cooking and Chinese Gongfu. All the students think that China is a great country and the Chinese people are kind and friendly. They are happy in China.
